We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Risk Manager to lead enterprise risk engagements and build risk frameworks for a diverse portfolio of clients across financial services, healthcare, and technology sectors. Based in our New York office, you will serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite and board-level stakeholders.
This role offers the chance to work on highly complex, high-profile mandates while contributing to the continued growth of our Risk & Compliance practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise risk management assessments and deliver comprehensive risk reports to clients
- Develop, implement, and monitor risk frameworks aligned with regulatory standards
- Manage engagement teams of 3–6 professionals and provide mentorship and performance guidance
- Build lasting client relationships and identify opportunities for additional advisory services
- Stay current on regulatory developments and translate implications for client risk programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Accounting, or related discipline; Master's degree or professional certification (FRM, CRM, CRISC) preferred
- 8–12 years of risk management experience in public accounting, financial services, or a Big 4 environment
- Deep expertise in enterprise risk management (ERM), regulatory risk, and internal controls
- Strong knowledge of SOX, Basel III, COSO, and ISO 31000 frameworks
- Demonstrated experience leading risk assessments and presenting findings to executive leadership
- CPA, CIA, or CISA certification is advantageous
